Charities Against Fraud Awards 2017

New for 2017, Charities Against Fraud are proud to launch the first Charities Against Fraud Awards 2017, specifically designed to recognise excellence in tackling fraud in the charity sector. The awards offer those working within charities the opportunity to showcase their success stories and share examples of best practice achieved or implemented in their fight against fraud.

The awards are free to enter and are open to all UK-registered charities.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 24 October 2017, hosted by Top 10 UK accountancy firm Moore Stephens LLP in London. Winners will be given a half day fraud awareness training for their staff by the Counter Fraud Team from the British Council. As one of only a very small number of charities with a dedicated team, they have developed their own training package bespoke for the sector. This will cover, amongst other topics, why people commit fraud and what can be done to spot it – and stop it!
