Moore Stephens expands with new Director - previously at Grant Thornton

Samantha George, formerly of Grant Thornton, is joining Moore Stephens, the Top Ten accountancy group, as a Director.
Samantha spent five years at Grant Thornton as Head of Global Compliance and Outsourcing Services*, where she supported clients in financial services, retail and technology sectors.
Samantha will join the team at Moore Stephens’ Reading office, and will be  providing outsourced accounting services to UK and international companies and groups.

Moore Stephens named Audit Team of the Year 2015

Last night, Moore Stephens was announced as the 2015 winner of the Top 50 Audit Team of the Year at the British Accountancy Awards. This award, which was open to firms placed within the 2014 Accountancy Age Top 50 Survey, seeks to recognise the audit advice that has delivered greatest measurable benefit to clients over the past 12 months.

Awards win at the Compliance Register Platinum Awards

For the second time this month our team has been recognised for our financial services compliance expertise, this time at the Compliance Register Platinum Awards. Lorraine Bay received an award for Significant Contribution to Corporate Governance, Risk and Compliance whilst our regulatory compliance team were runners up in the hotly contested Best Compliance Consulting Firm category.
