Moore Stephens to launch Governance, Risk & Assurance Training Services in the GCC

The 18th Annual Regional Conference of the UAE Internal Auditors Association of the Institute of Internal Auditors is due to be held in April. The theme of the conference is ‘Auditing @ hyperloop speed’. Being able to deftly and expertly provide your companies with the right assurance advice and consulting input at the right time is paramount to remaining vibrant and vital. Operating in an agile, informed and flexible manner has never been more important. A healthy internal audit function is one that is recognised for its expertise and professionalism. Whilst there is no doubt that talented internal audit staff contribute significantly to the success of the function, there are other factors which need to be considered. Just having talented or qualified staff is no guarantee of success. However, if you ensure your assets are well trained and informed, they can perform at ‘hyperloop speed’. At Moore Stephens, we recognise that the best assurance advice comes from teams that are well trained and aware of international ‘leading practice’.

Moore Stephens has provided training across Europe for many years and we are delighted to be able to bring the service to the GCC countries. Due to the scale of our international network and size of the firm (currently one of the top ten global accountancy and consulting networks) we have insight and understanding in all business sectors. Our success stems from our industry focus, which enables us to provide an innovative and personal service to learners around the world. We have the reach to meet global needs whilst maintaining a local presence and understanding of the culture in the GCC. This is a vital component and differentiates our seminars and training solutions. Training can be refined according to sector and therefore remain 100% relevant to learner needs.

Moore Stephens qualified professionals understand the dynamic nature of the region and are able to adapt and respond to that in their teaching and delivery styles. Innovation is one of our strengths; we realise that not all people learn in the same way. Our training is inclusive and supportive and adapts to the needs of the learner, and therefore meets client needs. This is because we can tailor each course to fit the requirements and expectations of the audience. We deliver courses for beginners, those at intermediate level and master classes for those who want to remain at the top of their game.

The Moore Stephens trainers are qualified and experienced staff, and always practising specialists. This ensures you receive recognised industry standard training and additional experiential input to help you apply the training received. Our courses are:
  • dynamic and inclusive;
  • participative in nature;
  • delivered using a number of media;
  • receptive to real time feedback, enabling learners to focus on their specific requirements during a training event;
exceptional value for money.

Our training supports the insight that managers, audit committees and boards crave. We can deliver training in-house or at corporate venues depending on the numbers and the length of training course. We know that keeping cost down whilst leveraging the best results is important to all businesses and delivering against that requirement is our objective. Moore Stephens courses range from ‘bite size’ half-day events to three-day courses. We also provide certificates completion for learners, to ensure they can maintain a portfolio of training received.

If you would like to know more about our training services or would like to request the development of bespoke course for your teams, please contact Anthony Blenkey. The training services brochure and booking forms will be available at the UAE IIA event, on 18-20 April 2017. We will be on hand to discuss delegates training expectations and requirements throughout the three days.
