Consultants are heaven sent
Two start-up organisations that have just been through the Mustard experience are Trojan Ink Ltd and A Little Organisation. Both based in Staffordshire.
Realising that many families juggle busy home and work lives, Anjali Moss saw the need for a stylish home organiser that would aid the planning of appointments, shopping, household duties and family activities. Moore Stephens were able to use the Mustard initiative to create a marketing strategy and research brand development for A Little Organisation. Anjali was initially sceptical of how consultancy could help but commenting at conclusion of the project she said, "I now understand how consulting adds value".
Entrepreneur Indy Singh established Trojan Ink Ltd to sell compatible ink cartridges via convenience stores. The Mustard project included a detailed marketing and sales strategy, building a list of retail targets and extensive market research. Mr Singh said that the project "had redirected his business model towards a more affordable structure in the competitive arena he is his entering". He was extremely pleased with the outcome of the project adding that the Moore Stephens advisor was a ‘God send’.
