Michael is an audit manager based in the firm’s Belfast office, Michael leads the firm’s dedicated charity team and is responsible for a large portfolio of clients that includes a considerable number of ‘not for profit’ organisations. In addition to the management of the audit of the financial statements for those organisations, Michael also advises on a wide range of accounting, financial, tax and funding issues. Increasingly his role involves work in the areas of corporate governance and risk management.
Michael is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and sits on its Charities Focus Group. He also represents the firm on committees within the Ulster Society of Chartered Accountants and is responsible for the organisation of internal staff training.
