  Not-for-profit sector : John Glasby
 
 
John was born in 1948 and joined Moore Stephens in 1965 where he has spent his entire professional life. He qualified in 1971 and was made a partner in 1973.

John heads the public and not for profit department in the Northwest region covering offices in Liverpool and Manchester, as well as having responsibility for a wide range of owner managed private sector clients.

In addition to providing traditional audit and accountancy services to a number of Charities, John is also responsible for fulfilling the firm’s role as Secretaries and Administrators to a large Merseyside Charity. The work includes day to day administration of the grant making function to 650 beneficiaries as well as working closely with the Management Board on investment and governance matters.

John has considerable experience as a trustee and is an unpaid director of a local organization for relief of persons with cerebral palsy.

John was a member of the ICAEW North West District Training Board from 1983-1994 and is a member of the Moore Stephens U.K. National Technical and Training Committee and of the Moore Stephens Professional Standards Review Panel.
