The Moore Stephens LLP Financial Sector team has won the prestigious Best Regulatory Accountancy Firm for 2008 at the Complinet Compliance Awards.
“This award recognises all of the hard work the team has put in over the last year” said Lorraine Bay, partner in the Financial Sector team. “Compliance continues to be a major issue to our clients in the financial sector. Through our reputation as highly valued advisers, our client base continues to grow.”
But it is not only the services provided to clients that has led to the award, as Lorraine explains: “Our regular newsletters, emails, factsheets and presentations keep our clients ahead of the game with the latest information on FSA compliance, accounting, tax and best practice.“
The awards recognise the successes and achievements of compliance professionals from across the financial services industry and supporting professional services firms, and Moore Stephens was shortlisted with Grant Thornton and BDO Stoy Hayward. While this was the fourth Complinet Compliance Awards, it was the first year an award for the best regulatory accountancy firm was given.
“Our aim is now is to build on this success and continue to develop our services and meet the needs of our clients,” Lorraine comments. “And to defend our title next year, of course!”
