Voluntary benefits

Voluntary benefits are typically paid for by the employee and are also tax efficient employee benefit for the employer. They can be used in tandem with other benefits but are often the stepping stone to providing access to a full employee benefits offering.
 
Examples of voluntary benefits include:
  • childcare vouchers;
  • workplace nurseries;
  • cycle to work;
  • gym memberships.
