Insurance Regulatory eBulletin - November 2018

Welcome to our Insurance Regulatory eBulletin

Welcome to this edition of our Insurance Regulatory eBulletin, which aims to keep you updated with significant regulatory developments and their implications across the insurance sector.

November has brought continuing Brexit uncertainty and all the regulators have been issuing statements or consultations preparing for a ‘no-deal’ Brexit. There has been welcome news from the IASB deferring the implementation of IFRS 17 by a year. Both the PRA and FCA are consulting on their fees for 2019/20. The FCA was active in the general insurance pricing space by issuing CEO letters, announcing a market study and publishing a discussion paper on the subject of the fairness of pricing in financial services.
