How can you provide an efficient, integrated service to your clients if your own specialist departments don’t talk to each other?
At Moore Stephens we pride ourselves on our ability to provide a co-ordinated service by ensuring our staff communicate across groups with the client liaison partner informed of all issues. We can therefore provide our clients with constructive, proactive advice from a position of knowledge.
Audit
Our audits are carefully planned to ensure that, in addition to obtaining the necessary audit evidence, we provide the service that our clients want. We consider the control environment and related risks; personalities; materiality from the perspective of our clients; regulatory concerns and industry specific issues; timing, reporting deadlines; ways to minimise disruption to our clients’ accounts teams.
Solicitors
Our team is experienced in reporting under the Solicitors Accounts Rules. We work with you to highlight concerns and recommend changes to your systems. We can provide internal seminars to clients so that they understand the requirements of the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority Accounts Rules.
We can also provide clients with advice on governance, including structures and reporting, risk management and supporting documentation.
Surveyors
We understand what the RICS expects from their members when holding client monies and provide advice to clients in advance of supervisory visits.
Accountants review
Not every undertaking requires an audit. Our clients know what they are getting for their money.
Tax compliance services
Our tax teams work with our audit and accounting staff to ensure the efficient completion of corporation, partnership and personal tax returns.
VAT & PAYE healthchecks
In addition to advising our clients on the VAT or PAYE implications of proposed transactions we provide our clients with a health check service to identify areas of concern before review by HM Revenue & Customs and the Contributions Agency.
