Zeb Bhatty, a senior executive with Moore Stephens LLP in London, is strengthening international relationships during his 18-month secondment to Moore Stephens Dubai.

Zeb joined Moore Stephens in London in 2012, where he gained his chartered accountancy qualification and worked on a range of external audits and assignments involving agreed upon procedures. While focusing mainly on investment funds, shipping and transport, his work took him across Europe, to Switzerland, Brussels and Rotterdam.

Zeb has already worked on audits for a wide range of UAE clients, including a helicopter manufacturer, a publisher, a pharmacy, an investment fund, car business and tax department. “The assignments here tend to be shorter, so I am getting good exposure to a lot of different clients and industries,” Zeb says.

This January Zeb began an 18-month secondment with Moore Stephens Dubai. “It’s going well,” he says. “The people here are friendly and the clients are helpful and supportive – that’s a big plus.”

Zeb’s time in Dubai is the latest demonstration of the strong relationship that exists between the Moore Stephens firms in London and the UAE. His on-the-ground experience will also be beneficial in future, helping the Moore Stephens network serve international clients even more effectively.
