Nick has over 25 years experience of advising clients in the public and private sector. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1992. Following number of years gaining experience with the Audit Commission and 11 years at a Big Four firm he joined the Birmingham office in 2007 as a partner.

Nick is the firm’s national Head of Charities & Education Group leading our audit advisory and tax services to clients in the not for profit sector. Nick regularly lectures and writes articles on charity issues including corporate governance and risk management. He also has a range of commercial OMB clients specialising in the manufacturing and service sectors including hospitality & leisure media & entertainment.

Nick highly values his involvement with clients on a long-term basis understanding their history and perspective and working with them to solve problems in a constructive way.

He has served on the Boards of two Further Education Colleges in the last eight years chairing the audit committee at both. He is also a trustee of a number of other charities.

Nick is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
