Kami Nuttall
Kami Nuttall is a Chartered Internal Auditor, CMIIA qualified with over 14 years of relevant experience. She started her career with a top three UK awarding examinations body, and continued her training with a medium-sized firm of accountants and management consultants. Kami serves as an independent board member and Chair of an Audit and Risk Committee for a medium size social housing group.

Kami specialises in not-for-profit and public sector internal audit. Household names have included Edexcel and Oxfam GB. Currently Kami's portfolio includes a number of Health and Care regulatory clients, public sector and charities. She manages their internal audit plans and reports to the respective Audit and Risk Committees on internal audit outcomes. She also leads on high level and specialist consultancy reviews.

Kami is a professional speaker and regularly speaks at international events. Additionally she is an experienced trainer and is Head of Centre of Excellence within our governance, risk and assurance group.

On a voluntary basis Kami is part of the writing group for the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors contributing to current themes such as auditing culture and existing guidance. She is part of the team reviewing the Common Body of Knowledge report on Women in Internal Audit which is due for publication during 2015/16.
