Duncan leads the Moore Stephens UK's Restructuring & Insolvency team. Principally based in Southampton, Duncan has specialised in all aspects of business restructuring and rescue for over 30 years with a strong track record in working successfully with boards, banks and asset based lenders. Duncan’s expertise spans engineering, maritime, property and professional practice sectors, allied with a nationally recognised expertise in the food production and processing sector which includes published submissions to the Competition Commission during its 2006-2008 Groceries Market Review. More recently he has been extensively quoted in the media in relation to the Groceries Code Adjudicator and Tesco's accounts. His notable cases include Pinnacle Angelgate, Witham Contract Manufacturing (formerly k/as William Ransom & Son Plc), Zazen Developments, Food Brokers, Manor Farm Ducks, Rayner Foods, Poole Harbour Developments, Basys Engineering, Devon Desserts/BG Foods, Dairywise, Island Builders, Keith Floyds’ Public House and Holmans Ship Repair Yard. Duncan is Vice President of R3, the trade association for the UK's insolvency, restructuring, advisory and turnaround profession.
