Tax awards shortlist

The firm’s teams have been named in the final four in their specialist categories in the Tolley’s Taxation Awards, which celebrate the highest achievements in tax advice and client support. The winners will be announced at the awards dinner in May.

Moore Stephens’ Private Client Tax practice has played a key role in driving recent change within the firm, including implementing a fresh strategy and outlook. Services to clients include advice on non-dom tax issues, non-resident landlords and the changing tax landscape affecting residential property, investment planning, trusts, estate planning and advice to US expats. The team’s innovative service offering has helped to grow its fees, while clients express consistently high levels of satisfaction.

Simon Baylis, partner and head of the Private Client team, says: “Being shortlisted in the Tolley’s Awards is a great achievement. In the last few years the Moore Stephens Private Client Tax team has seen lots of positive change and implemented a real drive for growth. We work together as one team, building strong relationships internally and also with our clients. Recognition in the Tolley’s Awards only serves to encourage us to build on our success in the future.”

Moore Stephens’ Tax Investigations & Disputes team has had an incredible five years and has now established itself as a leading team in an ultra-competitive market. Partner Dominic Arnold launched the specialist service in 2013, and the five-strong team now helps clients with tax investigations, tax disclosures, tax dispute resolution and consultancy.

“I’m delighted that we’ve been shortlisted for this year’s Tolley’s Taxation Awards,” Dominic says. “This is welcome recognition of our hard work and high quality service, but we won’t be resting on our laurels. I’m excited about what the next 12 months has in store for our dynamic and innovative team as we continue to attract new clients and strengthen relationships with other firms and advisers.”
