Finance Act 2015

The Finance Act 2015 received the Royal Assent today. This includes:
  • measures originally announced in the 2014 Budget for which, following consultation, draft legislation was published in December 2014;
  • new measures announced last week in the 2015 Budget.
There are further proposed measures for which, following consultation, draft legislation was published in December 2014 but where, in view of the forthcoming General Election, the government has deferred action until a later Finance Bill.

The legislation will take effect from a variety of dates, as indicated in the areas below.
