Anna, Marketing & sales, London

Why did you join this programme?
I am studying International Business Management at The Robert Gordon university in Aberdeen. Moore Stephens especially peaked my interest because the role offered is within Marketing which is one of my favourite areas of business. Furthermore, I liked that there would be an opportunity to work within the different sectors and having a variety in our day-to-day activities.

What’s your experience of Moore Stephens been so far?
Working at Moore Stephens has been brilliant. It has a really welcoming and accommodating atmosphere, there are opportunities to sharpen your skills either within training or through taking responsibility. I have met some great people and have been given the opportunity to get involved in some exciting projects.

What’s the social life like?
It's great, within Marketing we go out for drinks occasionally and we also have team meals out during lunchtime. There is also a social committee that organise events throughout the year such as the Christmas and summer parties,  plus you can take part in charity events with the Corporate Social Responsibility committee such as Tough Mudder, a Firewalk or even the firm wide pub quiz.

What’s been your best moment?
One of the funniest and best moments was during the Christmas party, where a very intense game of charades and beer pong broke out in the Marketing team.

What’s been your biggest challenge?
One of my biggest challenges has been getting to grips with my organisational skills and keeping up with the fast pace of the working environment. I also found it difficult updating the shared whip between the other two assistants.

If you were to give someone one reason to join Moore Stephens what would it be?
There are such diverse teams within Moore Stephens and everybody is so welcoming you will definitely fit in.
