Graduate opportunities

Moore Stephens has a graduate intake every September and January across our London, Birmingham and Reading offices, with associates going into the following departments:

Corporate audit - in this department you will need an analytical mind as you join a pool of trainees working with managers and partners to provide audit and accounting services to a broad range of clients. You will work with businesses in a variety of sectors from financial services to technology companies and sports clubs. Within this department you would study the ACA.

Business tax - you will be providing bespoke taxation services to clients and dealing with queries from compliance through to high-level advisory work. You'll prepare tax returns and computations, carry out tax planning/consultancy work, and deal with HMRC, clients and third parties. Within this department you would study the ACA.

Governance risk and assurance
- a department who offers a range of services designed to support boards in maintaining robust governance and assurance frameworks and managing risks effectively. You would get involved supporting a variety of businesses assisting to advise on their governance structures, provide comfort on their control environments and help to embed transparency and accountability. Within this department you would study the CISA.

International institution and donor assurance - a specialist department who carry out audits of international development aid and other publicly-funded projects all over the world, to ensure donors’ funds are properly used and soundly managed. Major clients include the United Nations and European Commission. Within this department you would study the ACA.

Private client tax - this department assists individuals with all aspects of their financial affairs from compliance through to complex planning. The key requirement for this department is being able to communicate in layman’s terms. Within this department you would study the ACA.

Public sector audit - you will be involved in the audit of statutory accounts, internal audit and advisory assignments, in the central government, local government, health and education sectors within the UK and overseas. Within this department you would study the ACA.
