The CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) is a globally recognised qualification for internal audit control, assurance and security professionals. Being CIA certified showcases your internal audit experience, skills and knowledge, and demonstrates you are capable to audit, control, monitor and assess information technology and business systems, evaluating vulnerabilities and reporting on compliance.

Our three year CIA graduate programme sits within our specialist governance, risk and assurance department where you will work part of small teams with a range of clients and technologies. You will liaise with IT and business personnel to obtain technical information and configurations to assess security risks and the effectiveness of information systems. You will also be analysing data sets using Excel, IDEA and other tools to validate information, assess its accuracy and detect possible anomalies and underlying trends.

Alongside your day job you will attend our trainee development programme plus regular learning and development courses, as well as being able to get involved with social and charity events that take place throughout the year.

Our CIA programmes follow the Level 7 Internal Audit Professional Apprenticeship standard.
