Practice Administrator

Coleraine but role is practice wide


The Role:

  • Moore Stephens (NI) LLP, is a large independent member firm of Moore Stephens International, a Top 10 global accounting firm. We have 7 partners and over 110 staff based in our 5 offices in Northern Ireland.   Due to the continued expansion of the practice, we are currently seeking to recruit a Practice Administrator. 
  • This is an excellent and exciting development opportunity for a highly motivated and flexible individual seeking a challenging role in a dynamic environment.
  • Working closely with the partners, the role will be practice wide.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring the efficient operation and management of the working capital cycle to include developing procedures to control work in progress and debts, reporting monthly to partners.
  • Managing the credit control function.
  • Controlling the accounts production process for the practice, to include quarterly management accounts and annual statutory accounts.
  • Management of the administration team including finance, reception and administration staff; developing training and staff appraisals.
  • Successfully build and maintain strong working relationships with all offices within the practice.
  • Being proactive and bringing forward papers to improve the management of the practice.
Qualifications and Experience:

  • Professional accounting qualification (preferably ACA)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Good IT skills including experience of Sage and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills

  • Experience with CCH accounts production and practice management packages
